I thought this was a quick 2 mile run. However, it reminded me of an interview with Bear Grylls a little while back. They were asking him about his training and his running. He said he runs a lot as being in shape is a requirement for the kinds of things he does. He also said that while he runs a lot, he doesn't run fast. I recall him mentioning that his pace was nothing competitive, something around 7:30 min/miles when running through the woods.
So, yeah, this was just a simple jaunt, Bear style. ;-) However, I'm pretty sure his HR ave would be lower than 156bmp like mine. I will say, I'm pretty happy with my 87spm cadence, thats for sure...
ITB felt fine during and after the run so far. Which is good. I don't think the ITB is sensitive to intensity like it is just cumulative distance. I'm not counting the 26.2 out yet....
