Less knee pain

So, today is a little better than yesterday.  My knee doesn't hurt just being.  Its still sore when lifting my leg up to put it on the coffee table.  But still better than yesterday.  I walked the dog again this morning and the knee did better.  I'll hold off on the ice and Advil today and see how it goes.  If the pain returns, then more Advil.  I have iced for 2 days, so I don't think I want to keep doing that.

Looks like the swelling is gone now.  Still tender to the touch on the outside of the left knee and below where the ITB attaches to the tibia.  I really want to start doing those single leg squats to start building up the stability muscle I need, but I think I'd be on the floor if I even tried one right now.

One thing I did notice today while walking the dog...  if I just walk in a straight line, things are OK, but if I go to pivot and turn around while walking...  wow..  that gets my attention.  Looks like that really does point to my lacking of stability strength and my need to get healed up properly before I get going on training again.  Last winter was kind of an off-time.  Not this winter.  This winter will be spent getting ready for my running training in the spring.  

For now...  couch training.  Along with the dog.  He likes this kind of training best.
