*cough* *cough* *hack* *wheeze*

I ran again! Likely, I shouldn't have. I've been fighting a shitter cold for a while now. The last couple of days its gotten worse. However, after a super cold and rainy day yesterday, the weather was really really nice today. And, its forecast to be crappy ass tomorrow again. Carpe Diem, right?

So, I figured I wouldn't make myself any more sick. I ran 2 miles. Not something I'd usually be all that thrilled about, but its my longest run since the ITB injury. I am hyper-sensitive about how my knee feels now. It did have a few little weird feelings in it, but I think its mostly from not running regularly now. Nothing specific to the lower ITB attachment point.

One thing I can report is that running when sick has earned me a new title. No, its not Superman or Toughguy. My new title is, "Snot Factory." Holy hell. I don't know if there is any commercial use for snot. Perhaps it could be used as a base in industrial lubricants. I'm not sure. If I someone out there has developed a process to make boogs into 10W-40, then please contact me to set up a supply contract.
