Ran 6 today. Not too bad. Took a while to settle in, and the hip flexors were fairly sore the first couple miles. But, it was twice the distance of yesterday's run, but felt twice as good. *shrug* Definitely time for a day or two off. No ITB issues to report, and the pace was 10:05, ave HR was 143. The weather outside was just perfect for a run.
Funny to think that after nearly 120 miles for the year, and I'm not even quite 1/4 of the way to marathon distance. *sigh* Oh well. I do have around 270 miles on these shoes. So, I think I'll try to take them to 400 before getting new ones. We'll see if I start getting more regular aches and whatnot once I get over 300 with them. I've never really kept so much track of my shoes before, so I don't know what I typically will get out of a pair. I am a bit more of a fatty than I'd like, so I might be pretty heavy on my shoes and not quite get 400 out of them.
