I ran 3 yesterday. I likely ran them harder than I should have. I was kicked in the ass. I did try and rival that crazy 8min/mile pace I had a few weeks back. I didn't, but I certainly set a PR on the route I ran. The only way I pulled that 8min/mile pace for 3 miles, was because that route was desktop flat. The route yesterday, not flat. Not at all. I still managed an 8:30 pace. The best I've managed prior to that, on the same route was 8:42. Oh, and no ITB issues at all.
Today, I need to run another 3. However, I suspect I wasn't going for any PRs. As I sit here on my couch, drinking coffee, my wife is running 3 miles. I was going to run with her, but when I went to move my legs, they were still quite unhappy about yesterdays run. I am going to still run today, but it will be a bit later. Hopefully my legs will be a little happier by then. And, of course, I have plenty of stuff to do around the house...
